TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
