The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
