Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

Everything in one place, with the full fee check here table, withdrawal policies, and regulatory tab trade review details, is at tradetheday.com.
